ĢƵ Up to No. 81 on U.S. News Top Public Universities List

Galloway, N.J. – ĢƵ continues to soar higher in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report College Rankings released today.
ĢƵ ranked No. 81 out of 225 public colleges and universities in the nation and No. 152 of 436 on the Best National Universities list. Last year, the university was ranked No. 84 and No. 159, respectively. This is ĢƵ’s third year in a row in the website’s national rankings. Previously, ĢƵ was included on the top 10 Best Regional Universities-North.
“My No. 1 priority is making ĢƵ a place where everyone can truly thrive, and these rankings are proof that the university is continuing to improve on accomplishing that mission,” said ĢƵ President Joe Bertolino.
ĢƵ was also recognized as one of the top 60 national universities for Social Mobility, which is based on enrolling and graduating low-income students. Nearly 85% of ĢƵ’s full-time, first-year students received institutional grants and/or scholarships totaling $17.3 million.
Earlier this month, ĢƵ was named one of the top LGBTQ+ Friendly Colleges in the country by BestColleges.com. The university was also included this year in The Wall Street Journal Best College Rankings for 2025, Washington Monthly’s 2024 National University Rankings, The Princeton Review’s 2025 “Best Regional Colleges,” Military Times’ “Best for Vets: Colleges,” and Money magazine’s “Best Colleges for Your Money” 2024 edition.
The university’s two residential campuses, in the Pinelands National Reserve and on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, offer students opportunities to live and learn in two distinct environments.
